UN|STABLE|D
-
In 2024, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Photography Studies College in Melbourne, Australia. Our graduating class was responsible for funding, curating, and marketing our final-year photographic exhibition to the world. One of my primary roles was designing a logo that encapsulated the diverse projects and ideologies of 32 artists. This logo became the foundation for various materials, including animated social media ads and the exhibition reader’s cover design.
The term “unstabled” was chosen as our exhibition name, reflecting the dynamic and multifaceted nature of the showcased works. It played on the words “stable, stabled, and unstable,” symbolizing the variety of subjects and mediums presented, as well as the phrase “a stable of artists,” which refers to a collective of artists under one management. The final outcome of the design was agreed upon by my fellow artists who agreed the logo should mostly appear unwavering and resilient but give voices to the challenges we overcome and always face as creatives resembled through the thin lines encircling the word “stable.” The brand contains two pillars symbolizing strength and our ability to think outside the box.
W & W Custom Construction
-
W&W Custom Construction Incorporated, based in the Outer Banks, North Carolina, specializes in building custom homes, additions, and renovations. The Outer Banks is known for its casual and relaxed culture, where t-shirts and bathing suits are the norm. To stand out, I chose to design t-shirts as a unique and effective advertising medium, rather than traditional brochures or flyers, which are often overlooked in the area's abundance of printed materials. By wearing these shirts in public—whether at a sandwich shop or strolling on the beach—employees and clients help spread awareness about W & W Custom Construction in a cost-effective and highly visible way.
The back of the t-shirt features the company logo alongside concise phrases describing its services, ensuring the message is clear and easy to read. The logo design quickly conveys the message that W&W Custom Construction is reliable and steadfast through the weighted serif font and roof above the first “W.” The t-shirt design incorporates a blueprint sketch with handwritten notes, symbolizing the dedication and precision involved in crafting each home with a personal touch. The shirt is colored light blue, evoking the hue of traditional blueprints while also conveying feelings of trust and security — key emotions clients seek when choosing a construction company. This design not only promotes the brand but also reinforces its commitment to quality and reliability.
Essence
Wine with Personality
-
“Essence” is a unique wine concept inspired by the essential elements that define individuality—whether in a person or a bottle of wine. This project draws a creative parallel between the diverse personalities of wines and the sixteen personality types of the Myers-Briggs framework. The wine label features a silhouette of a face, showcasing intricate machinery within to symbolize the inner workings that define personality. At the center of the face is a question mark, inviting customers to ponder, “What makes up my personality?”
Accompanying the wine is a booklet containing the Myers-Briggs test. Customers can discover their personality type and see which wine aligns with their traits. Each personality type is paired with a wine, complete with a unique typographic design that reflects their shared characteristics. This interactive experience allows customers to connect deeply with the wine, matching their personality and gaining insight into what makes them — and their chosen wine — truly unique.
TEXTILE DESIGNS
-
Exploring patterns and design is a creative way for me to capture the world around me. My designs — featured on the bags and coasters above — are inspired by everyday moments in Victoria, from surfers trekking through the bush to fresh produce at Melbourne’s northern markets. I love transforming these moments of culture and community into meaningful designs and thoughtful gifts. I look forward to continuing this creative process in my work.
